Home / Boarding / Meet the Boarding Team
The Assumption College boarding team provides care and guidance when boarders are away from their parents or carers. They play a vital role in the holistic development and wellbeing of our students, challenging them to grow, adapt, and meet the expectations of an ever-changing world.

Welcome from the Director of Boarding

Welcome to the Assumption College boarding community. Our boarding houses are home to 70 boarders from all over Australia. The residences feature modern facilities that were built to replicate the experience of living in a large family home.

We are so proud of the community of young people that live and learn here at Assumption College, and work to support individuals achieve their goals. Boarders have a unique experience where they learn independence, develop resilience, and build lifetime friends.

Our dedicated and experienced team provide care and support to the boarders, living on-site to provide full-time supervision. Parents and carers have peace of mind knowing that our staff are appropriately screened, trained, certified and experienced for the utmost safety, care and support of boarding students attending the College.

Building on more than 130 years of tradition, we look forward to welcoming students and their families as the next generation of boarders at Assumption College.
