At Assumption College, we offer flexible boarding options to suit the diverse needs of our students and their families. Choose between full-time boarding or weekly boarding, each designed to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for academic, social, and personal growth.

Full-Time Boarding

Full-time boarding students fully immerse themselves in the vibrant life of Assumption College. Our 7-day boarding program provides a secure, modern living environment with quality care, guidance, and full-time supervision.

Our dedicated boarding staff live onsite and are committed to meeting the academic, social, emotional, spiritual, and recreational needs of every student. Key features of our full-time boarding program include:

  • Safe and Modern Facilities: Students enjoy a comfortable and secure living environment.
  • Supervised Study Time: Dedicated study sessions ensure academic focus and support.
  • Catering for Dietary Needs: Meals are thoughtfully prepared to accommodate a variety of dietary requirements.
  • Access to School Facilities: Students are encouraged to make full use of the College’s facilities.
  • Weekend Activities: Weekends follow a structured rhythm, including co-curricular activities, personal interests, spiritual growth, and free time.

Weekly Boarding

Weekly boarding at Assumption College offers the perfect balance between school life and home life. Students participate in the same daily routines as full-time boarders during the week, focusing on their studies and co-curricular activities.

At the end of the school week, weekly boarders return home to spend quality time with their families, engage in casual employment, or participate in local sporting competitions. This option is perfect for families who value both the structure of boarding and the importance of regular family time.

Time with Family

We understand the importance of family connections. All boarding students return home during term breaks and Exeat weekends. The boarding college closes at 5:00 PM on the last day of classes for Exeat or the end of term and reopens at 4:00 PM on the designated return day.

Eligibility

Assumption College welcomes applications from prospective boarding students whose families align with the College’s values and aspirations. We seek students whose spiritual, educational, and vocational goals can be supported through our programs.
