Ready to join our team?

Here’s how:

  1. Complete the Employment Application Form
  2. Provide a current professional resume and cover letter addressing advertised position selection criteria
  3. Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia
  4. Provide two professional references to support your application
  5. Provide Proof of Identification.
  6. Complete a Child Safety Declaration, including confirmation that you have read our Child Safeguarding Code of Conduct and Policy, and the Staff and Students Professional Boundaries Policy.

  7. Provide evidence of current VIT registration, or, be willing to obtain Working With Children Check (Employee) for non-teaching positions
  8. Provide evidence of, or be willing to obtain a National Police Check

All employment applications must be emailed to our Human Resources Manager by the advertised date.

It is our policy that all applicants for child connected work at Assumption College are informed about the requirements and the College’s child safeguarding practices. You will be asked to attest to reading and understanding these policies when you complete the application form.

Our staff are expected to support the Catholic and Marist ethos of our college. Teachers should also use ICT competently and be prepared to take part in our co-curricular activities.
