NEALE DANIHER COMMUNITY AND SPORT PAVILION

A new Community and Sporting Pavilion will be made available to our students, parents, Alumni and community in late February 2022, with thanks to the kind generosity of so many.

Works are currently on target and the second floor has just started, showing the magnificent views over the Carroll Oval. This new pavilion will be a great space for people to gather.

Don't know much about this project, click on the video below to see how it all started.

pavilion name

Neale Daniher, AM, is a much-loved alumnus (Class of 1978). He is a great Victorian and role model and the pavilion will forever cement the Daniher name in concrete as a famous former AFL player, coach and prominent motor neurone disease campaigner. Neale is a sporting legend and known also for his spirit and generosity amidst adversity.

This contemporary building features iconic architectural design with facilities including a Hall of Excellence, change and visitor rooms, grandstand, multipurpose communal area, function centre seating 200 people, warmup spaces and umpire rooms, equipment storage facilities as well as having plaques telling Daniher’s story.

This pavilion will replace the one generously donated by the Anderson family in the 1970s.
