At Assumption College, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our Senior School students step into purpose-built, professional-grade facilities that turn passion into hands-on experience and qualifications.
Through our VET and applied learning subjects, these spaces become launchpads to genuine career pathways, whether your child dreams of working with animals, leading a kitchen, coaching athletes, producing music, or supporting community health. Here’s how each space connects students to the future they want.
Students drawn to working with animals and the land find their home in Drusilla, our purpose-built facility for VET Animal Care and Agriculture. Here, learning is practical, real-world, and industry-aligned, with students caring for live animals and managing the daily routines of a working farm. It’s the ideal foundation for careers in veterinary nursing, animal care, farming, and agricultural science.
The Marlhes Restaurant gives our VET Hospitality and Cookery students a true taste of the industry. Working in a full commercial kitchen and serving real customers, students develop the skills, confidence, and professionalism that employers value. Open to the public during term, the Marlhes is where chefs-in-training and aspiring hospitality professionals get their start.
For students passionate about sport, our facilities support both the VET Sport & Recreation pathway and our high-performance sport subject. Across manicured ovals, courts, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre, students build the skills to pursue careers in coaching, fitness, sports administration, and recreation. These are the spaces where future athletes, trainers, and sports leaders hone their craft.
The Champagnat Centre is where our VET Music students turn talent into expertise. With professional recording and rehearsal spaces, students learn the technical and creative skills that shape careers in performance, production, and the wider music industry. It’s an inspiring, artistically designed hub built to spark creativity and ambition.
Opening in 2026, our new STEM and Allied Health Building marks an exciting new era for Assumption College. Designed to support VET Health Services and STEM subjects, these contemporary facilities prepare students for two of the fastest-growing career fields in the country from nursing and allied health to engineering, robotics, and science. Located on the prominent Sutherland Street frontage, it showcases modern, environmentally responsible design.
The best way to understand how our facilities shape real futures is to experience them in person. We warmly invite you and your family to book a campus tour and walk the spaces where your child’s pathway begins. Prefer to start from home? Explore our immersive 360° virtual tour at any time.
