Assumption College has a longstanding reputation for sports excellence – a diverse sports program built on the foundation of rich history and tradition.
Boys sporting annals go back beyond a hundred years and the exploits of Assumption boys have been well-chronicled through several generations.
Now, the boys and girls of Assumption compete, excel and achieve greatness in a variety of sports. From traditional favourites such as football and cricket to cross-country, basketball, tennis, swimming, target shooting and more.
On any given Saturday there will be up to 350 boys proudly representing ACK on the playing fields and courts from senior to junior level. The boys compete in the Associated Grammar Schools of Victoria (AGSV) competition.

Given the high standard of competition and facilities provided, there are high expectations of student involvement. All ability levels from the elite to beginner are catered for in all sports.
