Boarding - Head of Boys

Assumption College is a vibrant Marist community located just 30 minutes north of Melbourne’s northern suburbs. The College is recognised for its innovative and engaging approaches to contemporary learning and wellbeing. We educate more than 1,500 students from Years 7 to 12 and offer boarding for up to 70 students.

As the only boarding school in Victoria with single rooms for every student from Year 7 to 12, Assumption provides independence within a safe, nurturing environment. As the Head of Boys Boarding, you will support the Director of Boarding in effective leadership within the Boarding Community, supporting daily management of boarding routines and smooth running of operations. This is a full-time position with option to live-in, with onsite accommodation which includes single accommodation (2 bedroom, kitchenette) or family accommodation (three bedroom unit), utilities paid for including internet, onsite catering for meals when on duty, and free access to onsite facilities.

To be considered for this role you must:

• Hold or be willing to obtain a first aid certificate including CPR
• Be willing to complete ABSA Level 1, 2 & 3 Boarding/Duty of Care qualification – facilitated once appointed
• Previous experience in boarding or working with young people preferred
• Hold Working With Children Check - Employee and National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
